“progros has developed strongly: Between 1999 and today, the purchasing volume has increased tenfold, from 20 m. to 200 m. EUR. The number of hotels has grown from 160 to almost 900. To be able to safeguard this positive development and continued solid expansion in the future, we have restructured the management,” says Jochen Oehler, who has been solely responsible for management of the company since 1999 and at the same time a strategic board member of DEHAG Hotel Service AG since the start of 2018.

Alongside Jochen Oehler, Tommi Huuhtanen has now been an additional director since 1st July 2018. Furthermore, Central Purchasing Director Michael Falk has been appointed as an authorised representative. “We are delighted to have been able to fill these two key positions with two longstanding employees who have already made substantial contributions to the success of the company,” Oehler says.
